A Voice for Survivors: Afghanistan

With over 1500 deaths, 2008 is the deadliest year for Afghan civilians since the fall of the Taliban. In the middle of this chaos, CIVIC is working to bring recognition to war victims in Afghanistan. Our own Erica G. met with displaced families in a refugee camp in Western Kabul. While there she learned about an airstrike that killed 15 villagers, an attack where families harmed have yet to receive recognition or aid.
